Happy New Year from XBY!
Despite not starting outside rehearsals until June we have managed to fit a lot of music making into 2021!!
After our summer outside concert at BYMT, our socially distanced rehearsals started back INSIDE in the September term and since then we have performed at the Orpington War memorial as part of the Remembrance Service as well as our Christmas concert at Langley Park Boys School with the Langley Park Community Choir.
Our Christmas concert was our first concert inside since the pandemic began and it was lovely to see our audience albeit all in facemasks enjoying themselves and singing carols once again.
In 2022 the band has plans for some outside festival performances, but most importantly will participate in the Concert Division in the World Music Contest in Kerkrade in July.
Thank you friends and family for all the support this year and we will hopefully see you at several events in 2022!
